Salvation Army Haul

Hey guys,

First and foremost:
I just want to thank all my followers, visitors, family, and friends for their support. CherrieAmore has officially been up for a month now and I am loving all the feedback! You guys are sooo  awesome!!

Ok...now back the the post lol.

A couple of weekends ago, I was in the Poconos spending some time with my parents and siblings. It was nice spending time with my family because I don't get to see them that often. Everytime I go to visit them, I always pass by a Salvation Army that is located about two miles away from where they live, but I never visited because of the "taboo" that was associated with thrift stores.  Now that I'm past that bougie phase lol, I promised myself that I would check it out before I returned back to NJ.

Only the white tickets were 50% off the day I visited, but if you go on Wednesdays, all of the tickets are half off except for one. If you're confused about the ticket thing let me fill you in...most thrift stores have color coded price tags aka tickets. The salvation army has atleast 5 different color tickets. I honestly don't know why they use color coded tickets because the price of an item does not depend on the color of the tag.

Anyway, here are my finds:

I saw this, and I had to get it. I liked the buttons and the flowers. Some people might say that its "old-looking", but I like it!

I really liked this silver cardigan. It's going to be perfect for the fall and the winter.

I know some people are looking at this and wondering "Cherrie, what were you thinking?!" But I love it, its very different and bright. Bright colors make me happy... actually anything with purple and gold makes me happy! This shirt is also 100% silk and was only $2.00.

How could I go thrift shopping and not get a leopard print shirt?! You know I love my leopard print. And this was only $2.00 so why not?

This is my favorite piece by far!! This is a great nautical inspired blazer. I love the length because its perfect for pairing with mini-skirts or shorts.

For example:

Grand total:

Only $19.95! I love thrift shopping because you can still shop and not feel as guilty about buying things. You also get unique things that other people will not have.

What are some of you best thrift store finds?

Hope you enjoyed this post.
Thanks for reading!
