Hope you all are doing lovely and feeling great!!
You might remember this striped dress from a previous post. I decided to throw it on today because the weather was ridiculously cold. I wasn't playing any games with this weather, so I also threw on my OTK boots to keep my legs warm. The dress is "shortened" a little bit by pulling it over a wide belt I had on my waist.
Stud Earrings: LBS
Dress & Blazer: H&M
Belt: NYC Street Vendor
Necklace via Clothing Swap
OTK Boots: Charlotte Russe
Which way do you like it best?
I'll be back tomorrow featuring another lovely lady in the DGR series!
Hope you enjoyed this post!
xoxo

ReplyDeleteThanks hun!
DeleteCute! Are you rocking Box braids? I'm supposed to get some in a few weeks:)
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
DeleteYes I sure am! Im such a slow mover in the morning so the box braids helps me get dressed faster since I dont have to worry about doing my hair! You will love them...they are so versatile.
I'm excited to get them! What kind of hair did you use? Human? Synthetic? Brand?
DeleteI'm going to start the leg work on getting what I need soon. I'm so looking for them! I just don't wanna look like Janet Jackson from Poetic Justice
Girl i used synthetic lol. It was 3 packs for $5. I always use synthetic hair, especially when I do braids because I change my hairstyle so often. I love the poetic justice braids. They are definitely coming back into style. Cant wait to see the style you choose!
DeleteThis dress is sooo cutesy!!!! I LOVE STRIPES... The colors are FAB!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks hun!! It was sitting in my closet for over a year before I decided to wear it lol.

Awww thank you Jen! Yes I hope our paths cross again soon. You are so sweet! Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI looove this dress; I prefer the way you styled the first go round only because I am a fan of warmer weather (winter and all of its layers is my least favorite season of the year)...I live in PA so I know the type of cold you were trying to guard yourself against over the weekend. I wore pants to church because I wasn't brave enough to wear a dress/skirt/stockings...LOL!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the way I styled it the first time too! What part of PA do you live in? My parents live in the Poconos and its always super cold there. Lol i wanted to wear pants to church too...but I dont have any dress pants that look right.
DeleteLove the way you styled it both times! The colors are great!
ReplyDeleteThanks girl!
DeleteI just found your blog and I followed. I love this dress styled both ways. I love the colors!
