Hope you all are doing lovely and feeling great! Happy hump day! So, a while back I ordered this strapless bodycon dress from Forever 21 for around $10.00. I always stay away from strapless dresses because I was blessed with big
boobs, so to avoid a wardrobe malfunction, I just don't wear strapless dresses. Butttt, I loved the floral print of this dress and it was inexpensive so I thought why not?! When I wore the dress for the first time it kept riding up when I walked, and I didn't feel comfortable wearing it without a jacket so I knew something has to be done. I mean...whats the point of buying a strapless dress if you cover it up with a jacket of some sort?! Anywho, I spotted it in my closet the other day and figured that I would just turn it into a pencil skirt! It was a very simple DIY. All I did was use my sewing machine to taper the sides, and voila, a pencil skirt was made!
Shame on me for not taking any step-by-step pics of the tapering procedure. I basically used the same method used by Veneea in this video. Although the video shows you how to make jeans straight leg, its the exact same concept!
