Hope you all are doing lovely and feeling great. Happy Mothers Day to all you amazing mommies. I know it might sound cliche, but words cannot express how much I love and care about my mom. She understands me when no one else does. She inspires me and pushes me to my fullest potential. She is always there for me and I thank God for my mother who puts her children first and is selfless. I love you mom!!!
Seeing that it is Mother's Day, my outfit is inspired by my mother. The picture on the left is my mom in her younger days. We are about the same age in the pictures.
My mom never wears high heels or anything short so when I saw this picture I was shocked to say the least and didn't know how to act lol. She looks so foxy and I love it! And do you see those super high platforms?! She's killin' it! Nowadays its like pulling teeth to get my mom to dress sexy #lesigh.
Anywho, to keep my look modernized I rocked multicolored platforms and a simple black a-line dress. My arm "party" is simple too; purple jewel and pearl bracelets.

i am sure when we're older we may opt for lower styles too... Just enjoy it now while we can.

Aww thank you sooooo much Gabrielle! Thats so sweet. My parents are from Grenada, West Indies but I was born in the states. Yes girl Im enjoying my heels, but hopefully I can rock them up until the day i die, but with my sensitive feet I know thats not happening lol.

LOL. You better get some flats and stop messing around! My mom has problems now with her knees, hips, joints period and she says she is sure its from her obsession with heels (she's short and always wanted a little extra height, so she NEVER wore flats, sneakers, etc ... EVERRRRR!).
Now she just can't do them. Bummer!

Yesss mi gyal!!! West Indies represent lol. I keep Dr.schols fast flats handy all the time because when my feet tell me its time to take off the heels, I listen lol.
