Getting Dress(ed) In A Hurry

Hey Everyone,

Hope you all doing lovely and feeling great! So I have a confession...I am a repeat offender lol. I wore the dress that I'm wearing in this post this past Saturday to a BBQ, and then the day after I wore it again to go out to dinner with the fam. I  never repeat outfits two days in a row--maybe I might wear the same pants, jeans, or leggings two days in a row...but I never wear unique-looking items, such as this dress, two days in a row. But...I was on a time crunch and I needed to get dressed quickly. My cousin called me and asked me if I wanted to go out to dinner and told me that I had 20 minutes to be ready. Mind you, I didn't even shower yet, so getting dressed in 20 minutes would be a miracle lol. Since I didn't have a lot of time to get ready I decided to just wear the same dress I wore the day before. I did style it differently the second time around by cinching the waist with a wide belt, throwing on my denim vest, and opting for a pair of heels instead of the flats I rocked the day before.

I believe that dresses are the most "no-fuss" things to wear when you need to get dressed in hurry because its a "single element outfit" (not including shoes and accessories of course...and yes I made up the term "single element outfit" lol). Single element outfit means that there is only one major component to the outfit . Think about it...if I decided to wear pants or a skirt, I would've had to find a blouse that paired well with it and that takes time!
