Distressing & Studs

  Hey Luvs,

Hope you all are doing lovely and feeling great! Happy Friday *busts a whine* lol! Last week, I met up with one of my friends to go to this Thai restaurant called Spice. I love Spice! Although I had a great time at dinner, I had the worst time getting ready for it. Why you ask? My hair!! Ugh wearing my natural hair is so hard! I'm so used to it being in braids which is sooo no fuss!  But one of my goals for 2013 is to wear my natural hair out more.  My hair was in a 3 day old twist-out and I was tired of wearing it in a puff, so I decided to attempt a bun. It came out a little messy but I didn't get  the side-eye from anybody so I think it looked decent lol. The bun looked better before I went to dinner. I took these outfit photos when I got back home.

 I wanted to wear something cute but laid back so I decided to throw on my favorite pair of distressed jeans and a gold stud embellished blouse. I love this blouse, but I had some trouble styling it because of its length. Its more like a tunic, and I didn't want to wear it the obvious way which is rocking it with leggings. At first, I tucked the shirt into my jeans but it was too long and looked sloppy, then I decided to take the shirt out my pants and tie the ends...voila it worked!
