I know people think that the title of this blog was based off of the Stevie Wonder hit "My Cherie Amour", but its not. My government name comes from the word charity, which in essence, means to show love to someone. I based the name of my blog on the motif of love:
Cherrie Amore
Pronounced cher-ē ah-mor-ay... Amore is Italian for "to love". So technically Cherrie Amore means "to love Cherrie". I have this crazy fascination with the Italian language and culture, hence the use of the word "amore".
On another note:
My name is Cherrie (yes like the fruit). I am a 22 year old Graduate Student that has a love for fashion & beauty. This blog mainly highlights how to be fab on a budget! As a graduate student, budgeting is my best friend and I never go out of my way to purchase an item...ok I'm lying lol. MOST of the time I never go out of my way.
I was born and raised in Queens NYC. My current home is Central NJ, but I plan on returning back to NY after I finish my graduate studies. Sad to say, the Rotten Apple has my heart.
